Dear readers, I will give you this “lazy Makoti Mogodu Recipe” in three languages, namely; English, Sesotho, and Afrikaans.
I'd like to
begin here. I'm a Pedi person, and in our culture, if there's a traditional
wedding, they slaughter a cow and cook and eat the mogodu (tribe) before the
wedding commerce. This, however, is not why you've come. Do you want to learn
how to make lazy makoti mogodu recipe? I'll show you how to make
a good mogodu, which we've named "lazy makoti mogodu recipe." We
opted to call the article "lazy makoti mogodu recipe" because
it all has to do with our culture's traditional wedding. In our culture, mogodu
is a delectable dish that many of us prefer to a traditional stake. This, I
believe, is due to the fact that we take the time to consume the mogodu tribe.
This isn't the only reason, though. Of course, people have a variety of motives
for doing so. This mogodu will only be served during our weddings. You can buy
mogodu for your family in stores. Let's get to the meat of the story,
readers...
Now let’s head
to the cooking measures for the lazy makoti mogodu recipe.
Instructions:
Whether you bought the mogodu from a store or slaughtered a cow, the first thing you must do before cooking is thoroughly clean it. Be aware that there are three varieties of mogodu tribes’ structures:
- Mala mogodu,
- Mogodu that
looks like grass and,
- Mogodu has many book pages.
That’s why you
need to make sure that you clean them thoroughly. Also, chop the tribe into pieces.
Put your mogodu
in a prepared pot and cook for 2 to 3 hours. Mogodu takes time to get ready. If
you would like to make it ready fast, some use cooking soda (some put the
mogodu with a spoon, they say it speeds up the cooking). Make sure you put
enough water in the pot with the mogodu (water must cover the tribe).
Ingredients:
Here I will
share some of the spicy ingredients you can add to make your mogodu even
yummier. Add;
1. Onion
Use a grader to
make them thin and smaller (meaning chop them finely). This way they
will get cooked very easily and they will add a crisp to the soup.
2. Green or Red pepper
Also, make sure
that they are thin and smaller too as in the onion above (meaning chop them
finely).
3. Can add boiled potatoes
First, peel and quarter
them. Make sure you boiled these potatoes in a different pot and mix them with
the mogodu after you are sure the mogodu is cooked.
4. 1 or 2 stock cubes
It doesn’t
matter which stock cubes are used. You can add beef stock and or chicken stock.
5. A soup or salt
This soup can
be beef soup. It will make your mogodu to be crispy and tastier. If you don’t
have soup use a small amount of salt (½ teaspoon salt).
Each and every after you add these above ingredients stir them after 10 minutes… Lol. Serve and enjoy your mogodu tripe with pap and or samp.
