Jose Riveiro Vows Never to Coach Another PSL Club
Jose Riveiro has officially ended his time as Orlando Pirates head coach — and he made one thing very clear: he will never coach another team in the PSL.
Riveiro’s last game in charge was a brilliant 3-0 win against Lamontville Golden Arrows. After the match, he spoke to the media about his future and made a bold statement when asked if he would ever coach another South African club, like Kaizer Chiefs or Mamelodi Sundowns.
“No, never. Once, Always,” Riveiro said.
“I will never coach any other team in South Africa. Orlando Pirates are the only club I could coach with my heart, my energy, and my courage.”
This emotional message showed just how much the Buccaneers badge means to him.
