Reneilwe Letsholonyane, a former player for Bafana Bafana, is starting his coaching career with AmaZulu FC. He's in charge of a special project to help young players at the club.
AmaZulu wants to help young players grow, so they've picked
eight coaches. Letsholonyane, along with others like Mbulelo Mabizela and
Andile Cele, got chosen for important roles.
Letsholonyane will coach the U17 team. His helpers are
Amanda Sithole, who will also help with fitness, and Aubrey Vilakazi, who will
coach goalkeepers. Letsholonyane is very excited about this new job. He talked
about it on a show called Marawa Sports Worldwide (MSW).
"I'm new to coaching and want to learn. This project
will help me grow, and I can also help young players. We'll grow together in
this big club," said Letsholonyane.
He came to AmaZulu because he saw lots of talented young
players in KwaZulu-Natal. He wants to find hidden talents who can make South
African soccer better.
"I've seen many talented boys here. I'm happy to help
them grow, not just as players but as good people. This will help our country's
soccer too," said Letsholonyane.
His first goal is to build a team of 18 good people.
"They need to understand where they want to go in life. It's not just
about soccer; it's about their mindset," he explained.
This is a big step for Letsholonyane. He wants to use his
experience to help young players. AmaZulu is serious about helping young talent
grow, and Letsholonyane's role is crucial for this.
